On April 16, we had the pleasure of organizing an educational visit for 22 students from the Care and Sports Technology course of Hogeschool VIVES to InnoSportLab 's-Hertogenbosch. It was an afternoon full of inspiration, learning and interaction.
From inspiration to creative ideas:
Our goal when organizing these educational visits is to make them both inspiring and educational for the students. After an introduction about different innovation projects, we challenged the students to come up with their own innovation questions and work with them. This led to lively discussions and brought out many creative ideas.
We also organized several interactive demos on successful sports engineering and technology innovations and activities. These demos, given in smaller groups, gave students the opportunity to see the technologies up close and understand how they are applied in practice.
A highlight of the visit was the tour of the immense building of 'De Plek', which houses the InnoSportLab 's-Hertogenbosch and the training halls of the top gymnasts. It was impressive to see how this space is used to promote sports innovation.
During the visit, we provided relevant information about how the sports innovation center works in practice. This gave the students valuable insight into the daily operation of an innovation center and the challenges and opportunities it presents.
Review from Vives College:
We are pleased to share a review from Nele Moens (lecturer) about her recent visit to the InnoSportLab 's-Hertogenbosch with the students of the VIVES Care Technology program, Sports Technology option:
"We visited the InnoSportLab 's-Hertogenbosch with the VIVES Care Technology course option Sport Technology. What guidance for athletes they can offer there due to the infrastructure, technology and knowledge present! The demo sessions were very much enjoyed by our students! Many thanks, Tim Hoevenaars!"
At Sportsolute, we make sure that everything goes smoothly and that the students have a valuable and educational experience. All in all, it was an inspiring afternoon that the students will not soon forget.
