From January 11 to 14, 2026, Sportsolute visited Switzerland, traveling through Bern, Zurich, and Lausanne, a country globally recognized for its strong sports infrastructure, innovation mindset, and international influence. Over these inspiring days, we experienced how deeply sport, collaboration, and long-term vision are embedded in Swiss sporting culture.
At the Heart of the Global Sports Ecosystem
Our journey took us through several key sports and innovation hubs. Lausanne, known worldwide as the Olympic Capital, stands at the center of the international sports ecosystem, hosting the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and a remarkable concentration of international sports organizations.
Across Bern, Zurich, and Lausanne, we engaged with institutions that play a defining role in shaping the future of sport at both national and global levels.
During our visit, we connected with and learned from the International Olympic Committee, where sport, education, and innovation meet on a global stage, Swiss Olympic, driving elite sport, talent development, and sustainable athlete pathways, Maison du Sport, home to numerous international sports federations working side by side, FC Lausanne-Sport, where performance, data, and player development are closely integrated, Maggligen, Switzerland’s national elite sports center often referred to as the Swiss “Papendal”, and OYM (On Your Marks), a leading high-performance and innovation campus where science, technology, and sport come together.
Innovation as a Way of Thinking
What stood out throughout Switzerland was how innovation goes far beyond technology alone. It is embedded in education, collaboration, governance, and long-term strategy. From coach development and talent identification to data-driven performance and interdisciplinary cooperation, Swiss sport demonstrates a holistic and future-focused approach. It was an inspiring opportunity to present Sportsolute and our platform to these organizations, showing how our solutions can support coaches, clubs, federations, and athletes to work smarter, collaborate more effectively, and make sport more accessible and enjoyable.
Introducing Sportsolute on the Global Stage
Together with the Dutch Embassy in Switzerland, we were proud to introduce Sportsolute to several major international sports organizations and world governing bodies, including UEFA, FIFA, FIBA, and other global federations. These meetings highlighted the universal challenges and opportunities in sport, from coach development and talent pathways to innovation and collaboration, and the value of connecting them through a shared platform.
Looking Ahead
Our visit to Bern, Zurich, and Lausanne was both inspiring and energizing. It provided valuable insights, meaningful connections, and new opportunities to expand Sportsolute’s presence in the international sports ecosystem. We look forward to building on the ideas and partnerships that emerged during our time in Switzerland, and to helping the global sports community grow, learn, and innovate together through our platform.
