National Media Spotlight on Sportsolute

Over the past days, Sportsolute has received significant national media attention across some of the Netherlands’ largest broadcast platforms, marking an important milestone in our mission to advance sports safety through data and innovation.

It all started with our feature on Editie NL (RTL Nieuws), one of the country’s most widely watched daily current affairs television programs, reaching hundreds of thousands of viewers. In the segment, we showcased our work with the ACT Head Impact Tracker together with Knockout Boxing Club, highlighting how real-time measurement of head impact in combat sports can help shift athlete safety from intuition to objective data.

Shortly after, we were invited to speak on NPO Radio 1, the Netherlands’ primary national public radio news and current affairs station. The interview was broadcast live on Tuesday, reaching a broad national audience across the country.

This momentum continued into the NOS Radio 1 Journaal, the flagship morning news program of Dutch public broadcasting. With an average daily reach of over 1 million listeners, NOS Radio 1 Journaal is one of the most influential news programs in the Netherlands. We were featured in two broadcast moments around 06:21 and 08:18, where we further discussed the importance of measuring impact load in contact sports and how technology can contribute to long-term athlete health and safety.

Across all appearances, the central message remained the same: repeated head impacts in sports such as boxing require better insight, better monitoring, and better tools. The ACT Head Impact Tracker is designed to provide exactly that—real-time, objective data that supports coaches, athletes, and medical professionals in making more informed decisions.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share this mission on such large national platforms. The combined reach of Editie NL, NPO Radio 1, and NOS Radio 1 Journaal underscores not only the relevance of this topic, but also the growing urgency to improve safety standards in sports.

Special thanks to Knockout Boxing Club for their continued collaboration and to Joan Hansink for helping make this media exposure possible.

This attention strengthens our commitment: to build a safer and more data-driven future for athletes.
